Goal 1: Make the CSU community aware of AUCC 1C reform.

  • Students and advocates can use our website to learn more about AUCC 1C courses and how to get more involved.

Goal 2: Educate the CSU community on why inclusive and diverse higher education is important

  • These classes give the opportunity for students, teachers, and the CSU community to learn why this class is important to take. “An important goal in diversity education is helping students recognize their biases. Moreover, teaching about how biases operate can open the door to educating students about ways to prevent acting on their biases” (APA). This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to facts on why this course is important and what it involves.

Goal 3: Hold CSU officials accountable for moving forward with AUCC 1C reform.

  • Our petition provides that accountability and voice to help push this course forward.

Goal 4: Encourage students to advocate for our cause.

  • Your voice matters!
